About This Blog

For over thirty years I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am in the process of reexamining my spiritual life and creating a new path. In that process is questioning many of the teachings I have lived with all this time. Some might call this a faith crisis. I still have faith in Heavenly Father, Heavenly Mother, and Jesus Christ. I am in the process of trying to create a richer, more personal experience that does not require others to tell me what to believe or how to behave. I am the woman at the well.

Scripture

Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16: 32-33

Jesus said this to his apostles but I can imagine that we might have been told the same thing before we came to earth.
